ROUTE DEVIATION SERVICE

PVTA provides a route deviation service on regular route services. We will pick you up and drop you off at locations within three fourths of a mile of the regular route. To receive this service you must make a reservation no later than the end of the business day prior to the day you wish to travel. Business hours are 5:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

All reservations must be made with the PVTA office. You can make your reservation by calling (304) 257-1414 or toll free (800) 565-7240. Those using this special service will be charged a fare equal to twice the regular fare less any discounts which may apply

PVTA HONORS FORMER MAYOR HICKS   Former Mayor William Hicks was recently recognized by the Potomac Valley Transit Authority Board of Directors for his long service as a member representing the City of Romney.  He was recently presented a plaque at his home in honor of that service.
